Manufacturer Provided Description

The Silverton 38 Convertible is part of the evolution in design and manufacturing that Silverton has been experiencing for the past several years. The lines are pleasingly fluid and the overall look is modern and inviting. Space allocation is taken seriously and no other 38 can offer the extended amenities found here. Two comfortable staterooms with innerspring berths will provide plenty of privacy and storage. A Corian-covered galley will swallow up all cooking and serving pieces with room to spare. A full complement of top-of-the-line appliances are standard and a real hardwood floor keeps maintenance to a minimum. The salon with the electrically-actuated sofa and opposing dinette is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing. Convertibles are designed to be very versatile and the 38 is among the best. The cockpit can be fished along with the best of them or handle a couple of lounge chairs. The standard wetbar can be outfitted with either an icemaker or a refrigerator, and there is a Fish Pak option that equips the 38 with a rocket launcher, rod holders, washdowns and a tackle center. Crowning all this is a large flybridge with plenty of seating and plenty of storage. The console can handle all electronic needs and the optional hardtop with integral electronics box can take even more. Silverton's bluewater heritage is evident in the hull design and the advanced engineering is obvious in the engine spaces.

Accommodations

Stepping aboard you will find a large aft cockpit with room for guests.  A molded stairway provides access to the helm which features captain and companion chairs and a bench seat in front of the helm station.  The cockpit is fully enclosed.  Entering the salon from the cockpit you will find a spacious area for a boat of this size.  Her comfortable cabin offers an open salon with leather sofa to starboard that converts to a double berth electronically.  There is a dinette wood-top table and leather L-shaped sofa to port.  The galley is located to starboard, down and just forward of the salon and includes an under the counter fridge/freezer, three burner cook top, microwave, stainless steel sink and ample cabinet and drawer storage.

Forward of the galley there are two staterooms and a single head.  The master is forward with centerline queen island berth, cedar lined closetss and private access to the head and separate shower.  The guest stateroom is located to port with twin  bunks that convert to a double, closet and drawer storage with a private entrance to the shower stall.  The head and shower are separate, starboard and port side.  There is a fresh water vacu-flush head system.

Cockpit, Helm and Electronics

The Cockpit is large with wet bar, ample storage, in-deck fish boxes, removable overhead sunshade, snap-in carpets, transom door and large swim platform with stainless steel ladder.  The bridge and helm area are accessed via molded stairs from the cockpit and is fully enclosed with snap-in carpets, twin captains chairs with flip-up bolsters and a bench lounge seat forward of the helm with storage.  The helm has a full compliment of electronics including color chart plotter, radar, sounder/fish finder, overhead Icom VHF, Simrad autopilot, remote spotlite control, windlass control engine synchronizer and stereo.
